Tom Fackenthall
     
Tom Fackenthall, 65, a lumberman and former Ahsahka resident, died of cancer Friday at a Spokane hospital. He was a resident of Post Falls.
     
Fackenthall was born Jan. 30, 1914 at Sagle to James and Icyminda Fackenthall and had worked at the Ahsahka lumber mill as a planer for 17 years until 1967, when he and his wife moved to Post Falls.
     
He is survived by his wife, the former Mamie C. Choate; two sons, Dale of Ahsahka and David of Post Falls; two daughters, Wilma Kleinsmith of Post Falls and Ila Jenkins of Susanville, Calif.; two brothers, Erle of Lenore and Ira of Ahsahka, and a sister, Phoebe Senft of Sandpoint. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
     
Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Lewis-Clark Memorial Gardens at Lewiston, the Rev. Robert Compton officiating. Arrangements are by the English Funeral Chapel of Post Falls.
